I’m having a hard time admitting when I’m having a “hard time”. You know, those times when you just can’t even hardly look at anyone…the times when you grind your teeth to not show your anxiety and stress….

Those times…those times I can’t hide from my wife. She knows. She may not call me on it; but, she knows.

Well, it certainly has been awhile since I’ve posted anything here. Reading back over everything has brought back floods of memories. Mostly horrible memories of uncertainty and fear. I’ve decided to make a comeback. I may even be able to talk Mary Jane into joining in on the fun.
I have MUCH to update you on. It’s going to be good. You don’t want to miss it. Come back tomorrow.

Good Day, Paul Harvey…

I found out today that Paul Harvey passed away on Feb. 28, 2009.
I remember listening to that man almost every day when I was a kid, with his “rest of the story”. The way he told his news stories was unlike any other person.
I haven’t listened to Paul Harvey in I guess a year or two. I’m just not interested in the radio enough to map out my day around it, and be in a car at a specific time every day (since the car is the only place I listen to the radio).

When Paul Harvey was a young boy, he made radio receivers. At the age of 15, in 1933 he began working in a radio station in Tulsa. His job there was as a janitor and some fill in work and commercials. He has been involved in the radio, behind the microphone for over 3/4 of a century.

The man will be missed, obviously not often by me, since I don’t listen to the radio often. It’s so odd that he won’t be around to tell the news about the country’s first black president, (hopefully) the ending of the United States’ presence in Iraq, the end of this horrible recession…

It was just comforting to stumble onto 5 minutes or so of some witty, interesting news and at the end “….I’m Paul Harvey….good day!”

Will Ferrell is the funniest man in the world at this moment.

I watched a couple of episodes of “Eastbound and Down”, and I laughed. I El Oh Elled, in teenage textspeak.

If ever(and whenever), I have some really bad news delivered to me, I think I’d like to have Will Ferrell deliver that bad information. I imagine I would laugh if it were he that told me my great grandmother had just died.

I like Will Ferrell.

Well, I wasn’t much interested in American Idol tonight, oddly enough. I was a little tipsy.

So, the Arkansas guy, the chick I mentioned in my last blog, and the punk guy made it.

The blonde sleeved girl is going to make it. Beyond American Idol. She will be good. Mark my words.

I can’t remember the punk guy’s name, but he made it too.

I’m sitting here right now watching American Idol. I think that Indian dude from last week was pretty good. MUCH better than what I’ve heard tonight so far.

I just watched that Nick dude “sing”, or perform, or whatever the heck he did. That guy with the glasses, headband, and the same weird, sequined shirt every week. Granted, I was glued to it, just to see what he was going to do. He’s a great singer, but he’s weird.

I think that dude that got through last week deserves to be the winner. You know Dave something…his wife died a couple of weeks before the first audition. Anyways….

I think everyone should vote for that Nick guy. It will be the biggest prank in the world if he wins. He won’t.

…..and the 16 year old girl just blew the lights out, right after the Nick guy.
